For a landowner to be eligible for a Colorado conservation easement income tax credit, the conservation easement holder (non-profit land trust or governmental entity) must be certified by the Division of Conservation at the time of the donation. In accordance with section 12-15-104(9) C.R.S. the Division maintains the following list of organizations that have applied for certification and the status of their certification. The list also includes national accreditation status for land trusts accredited by a national land conservation organization.
